A week has past since we destroyed Astoria on our Nacho Crawl so our stomachs have had time to settle and our palates have been refreshed but I wish I could just hit DELETE DELETE DELETE on the night that was at Paquitos in the East Village.

First stop on this Astoria nacho train was Tacos Mexico. Don’t let the name fool you, their tacos may be good but their nachos were phenomenal. It took a little while for our train to get out of the station. We had a few late arrivals and Tacos Mexico was definitely overwhelmed by our hunger and magnitude.

How does one celebrate a successul nacho crawl? Dessert nachos of course. You would think after three nacho stops in one day we would be chipped-out but then you mustn’t comprehend our dedication. For breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert all we want are nachos.

2010 is looking good. Real good. The first ‘chos of the year happen to have come from a previous Grito competition supporter, Lobo. After having their salsa at the Bell House I was pumped to dive into their nacho menu.

Last Thursday New York’s only true football team, the Buffalo Bills took on the Jets north of the border. To celebrate, some Molsons and Buffalo wings, right? Well, sort of. More like buckets of Michelob Ultra and Buffalo Chicken Nachos. So we have ventured to the Upper East Side yet again for mid-week ‘cho action.

Hey haters out there, look where we went. All the way to the Upper East Side, baby. If you start on the Bronx, we’re getting there. We even have a review from Queens coming and Lee’s planning his nacho crawl in Philly. Look out world we will mount and conquer thee.

Instead of Taco Tuesday in the East Village, we had to settle for Peach Salsa from Trader Joe’s coupled with our favorite corn chip from Food Should Tasted Good. Let’s just say, I was unimpressed.

Rainy, cold-for-October Saturday afternoons don’t usually scream “margarita,” (they usually call for a favorite of Rachel’s, a Hot Toddy) but as I sat down at Lime Jungle I oddly wanted nothing more than a frozen tequila delight.

Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts. Screw it. Pacifico, I am disappointed in you. Lee fasted all day for Yom Kippur and you let his tummy down.

I have turned into quite the negative nacho Nancy lately, but come on. Good nachos make me very happy, bad nachos make me super sad. 7A had bad nachos, therefore, estoy triste.
