Today, I received a letter from a friend, Eliot, way out in San Antonio. Before he heads to India for a 3-month-bike-trek, he’s taking in nachos far and wide.

This just in, they have nachos in Connecticut! From our friend Cindy Rowland comes a review on some sadly so-so at best nachos.

Philadelphia! The town that gave us Rocky, Cheesesteaks and the Bristol Stomp. The town that bore me, that took me into its loving embrace during my college years, that took a steady chunk of my income in parking tickets.

On our Nacho crawl, we made a lot of awesome friends. Given that the nacho crawl is a bit of a hectic time with me running around like a chicken with my head cut off, I decided to hand over the reviews for this crawl to some of the great people I met. This review of Royal Tavern was written by Jess of fries with that shake.

Over July 4th weekend, I ran away from New York City. However, I could not turn my back on nachos. I spent about a week in Minneapolis, Minnesota visiting with friends, wandering through Uptown, and sampling some of the city’s nacho offerings. One place I had nachos was at Hard Times. While the company was divine, my high hopes for vegan ‘chos were sadly squashed.

Last week, great friend of the blog, Jon Poritsky filed a Nacho Report from of all places, Oklahoma City. Jon runs the candler blog, a very up and coming film blog and was invited to take part in Dead Center, an OKC film festival.

A short while ago I took a vacation to Los Angeles to visit a dear old friend. Less concerned with not being able to see me for 6 days, Lee was adamant about me continuing my margarita correspondence from the west coast. So I did. And of course ate nachos to go along with it.

After our scenic, but chilly boat tour of picturesque Nyhavn (New Harbor) in Copenhagen Denmark, we were hungry. On Friday of the Frank Family European Tour, we were looking for a restaurant to have lunch. We decided on Cafee Bellagio, just up the street from Nyhavn (New Harbor). Katy, Lil Bocadito, had previously had coffee with some friends here.

When I started writing this blog, I had in the back of my mind nachos at this crazy Vegetarian restaurant in my hometown called Blue Sage. These were the ideal ones, every bite was incredible. So as I planned my visit home, I told my parents to make a reservation. During the week, I got excited for their Adobo Goat Cheese Nachos.

I told the tall tale of these nachos to everyone, including Sarah who was clamoring for attendance on this adventure. So, she joined me and my parents. We entered.
