A long time ago, on the night that the Nets took on the Celtics at Barclay’s Center, I finally took care of two major needs, nachos from Calexico and nachos at Barclay’s Center. In the process of the night, I sadly also got to see the Nets lose. But back to the nachos.

No 7 sub is one of my favorite lunch spots near work. They take creative food combinations and slap them on a roll; I like that. So, I’ve been waiting and waiting to go to their other outpost, No 7 in Fort Greene for a brunch or dinner. Finally, I had the opportunity.

We have been eating Irish nachos every St Patricks Day since the blog started three years ago.

This Sunday, I wasn’t expecting to eat nachos. I was expecting to eat food trucks foods. I had a wishlist in my mind that included ice cream sandwiches, fries and maybe even a souvlaki stix at the Food Truck Rally at Grand Army Plaza. I didn’t get to eat any of that.

After a nacho hiatus of about 2 weeks, I made plans to eat some at Baby Bo Cantina’s in Murray Hill. In the meantime, I needed a Secret Santa gift. After I wondered if bosses like mugs that say smart girls thirst for knowledge, I walked by the former playa space which now houses Comida.
