Guac Rock is quickly approaching (just 6 days until we hit the sea) and we thought we should provide you with the best reasons to get onboard the loveboat.
We haven’t been ones to jump on to many memes. We prefer to start our own like Latkchos, Nacho Seder Plate, and Nacho Tattoos. As many of you know, the Old Spice commercials have been blowing up all over the place and today, one fell into our domain.
When I heard we were going to PS whatever, I thought we were going to a public school pot-luck. But no, PS 450 is a swanky bar/restaurant on 450 Park Avenue South between 30th and 31st in Manhattan. We were intrigued by the restaurant’s Braised Short Rib Nachos.
We are taking the party to the high seas! Get ready for the Guac Rock Concert Cruise. On July 19, as part of Rocks Off Concert Cruises, Nachos NY will be hosting a huge party complete with guacamole and music.
It’s the summertime and if you’re a red-blooded, flag-waving American like me, you’ve probably been pretty psyched and/or drunk recently because of the World Cup. Unfortunately, the U.S. was knocked out of the tourney this past weekend. There’s no need to cry though. It just means you can now focus all your attention back on our national pastime, baseball.
This weekend is the annual Gay Pride Parade in New York City. To honor this celebration, we pick out our favorite rainbow ‘chos. Red, blue, and yellow, at NachosNY we have learned to love a little diversity.
Next week, I will pull my last shot of espresso at Royale Café and Pastry. The coffee shop on 6th Avenue and 11th Street will be closing its doors. Royale was the sight for many of our NachosNY adventures. We had photo shoots and ate Qdoba ‘chos on my lunch break.
