Prior to attending a bar crawl for Delta Spirit’s new album, I forced Maraysa to eat nachos in Greenpoint. We’ve been to Acapulco and to Vamos Al Tequila and both were pretty lovely, so we chose Papacito’s. Papacito’s offers a great variety of vegan and vegetarian options, but if I was that into either of those, I probably wouldn’t be blogging about nachos.
Aviator Sports and Events Center is a fun place to go ice skating on the weekends. Take the bus out there and you almost forget you’re in Brooklyn. Last time out, they were out of chips but I was in luck this time around, if you could call ordering “NACHO’S” luck.

When you think happy hour you normally think 2-for-1 drafts or a couple bucks knocked off your well drinks. On select nights Epstein’s Bar happy hour extends to their appetizer menu. On a Friday night how could one turn down cheap fried food and $3 Ommegang Witte beers?
No 7 sub is one of my favorite lunch spots near work. They take creative food combinations and slap them on a roll; I like that. So, I’ve been waiting and waiting to go to their other outpost, No 7 in Fort Greene for a brunch or dinner. Finally, I had the opportunity.
Hello, Nacho Nation. Have y’all recovered from the Super Bowl festivities yet? Did your chosen party have nachos? Were they good? Were they more than tortilla chips & quickly-coagulating cheese? I hope so. Personally, I went to a gathering with well-done nachos but, as one who grew up on sports, I can still appreciate the chip & cheese simplicity of the ballpark nacho.
