About Nachos NY
Why Nachos?
Nachos are the ultimate shareable food. Unlike burgers or pizza, a community can sit down together and enjoy a plate of nachos.
How we got started?
In 2006, Lee was given a yellow shirt that said, “I ♥ Nachos.” (He used to talk about Nachos non-stop. That hasn’t ended.) In 2008, Lee started talking about how he wanted to start a new blog and he realized he could share his love and wealth of knowledge about nachos. And so it began in November 2008.
One month later, Rachel moved in with Lee and his roommates. She had no choice but to join the cause. Then Jon jumped on board and we’re now a nacho family. We’ve eaten over 100 nachos in NYC alone, have a growing assortment of recipes and a whole lot more. If it’s nachos, it’s here.
