This is year 5. Remember year 1: 350+ people landed upon the Bell House’s front lounge much to my surprise. We ran out of chips, we ran out for chips, and then we ran out of chips. It was a crazy time. And now we’re here in year 5. So we’re doing something special. This year’s Guactacular is going to be a day of fun.

Running from 2-9, we’re cramming all of the following into your Cinco de Mayo:
Afternoon Guactacular featuring 20 at-home-guacamole prodigies who think their guacamole will make you weep.
A live taping of The Sporkful Podcast
Night-time Guactacular with local restaurants, chefs and members of the food community competing for the People’s vote.
There will be 3 options for tickets this year. The first session will cost $15, the second session will be $18 or you can spend the day with us for $28. You can buy tickets right here.
The Coolhaus truck in the afternoon and the Mexicue truck in the evening.

We’re still putting together the final roster for the professional circuit, but if you’re a self-professed master of the avocado and you’re ready to impress a crowd of guacamole lovers, email email@example.com with the subject line “Guactacular Competitor” to join the competition.
We’ll keep updating you as we get closer to the event with the Judge’s Panel for the afternoon session, the list of night-time competitors and whatever else we decide to add to the party!
