Dos Toros Guacs it Out

If you have eaten at one of Dos Toros’ three Manhattan locations, I am sure you don’t need any more reason to obsess over it. Introduced to New York by two San Fran transplants, Dos Toros is sort of like a cheaper, more authentically mexican Chipotle.  (No disrespect, big C. I love your guac.) D.T. serves a simple menu of delicious Mexican rice, vegetarian pinto beans, flavorful meats and fajita veggies. And, if you like spice, they have the spiciest of sauces. Seriously. Try it.

I started to suspect, in my near daily visits to their new West Village location this summer, that Dos Toros also has pretty awesome employees. Always a little weird and super friendly in a rare way. Then, last week, employees from both Manhattan locations posted this video on YouTube and my Dos Toros employee crush was solidified. If you haven’t already seen their rendition of “Guac it out”, check it out here. I particularly enjoy the cinematic genius of slow motion guac slangin’ to start us out.
