Salsa Y Salsa

Last night, work was coming to a close and I had a hankering for nachos. I didn’t want to go far and remembered Salsa Y Salsa was just around the way on 7th Ave. I sat down with a nice margarita on the rocks with salt and was ready to order the nachos when Nozomi called and she was coming to meet me.

When she arrived, we ordered the nachos and she had a margarita of her own. The walls were red and when I tried to photograph the mini-umbrella, it blended in with the table, I’ll learn sometime. The nachos arrived at the table:

The plate was small and the chips were colored. We were off to a bad start. The cheese was plentiful, but centrally located on a few chips. And the beans, while absolutely finger-licking delicious, lead directly to the soggy chips just moments later. There was a little guacamole and sour cream, but to be honest, they weren’t anything to write home about.
