In 2010, we ate a lot of nachos, some good and some bad. I like my bad news first, so without further ado, the five worst places we had nachos at this year. Next, you’ll want to read our best of the year.

  1. El Charro Espanol: These were barely nachos.
  2. El Cantinero: Fueled by the Village Voice liking this place, I was inspired to eat, and it was awful as I remembered.
  3. Great Burrito: “Soupy mess” shouldn’t be involved in reviews of places with the word great in them.
  4. Hog Pit: Hiding behind lettuce, these put the “average” in “average nachos.”
  5. PS 450: Some of the most expensive we’ve eaten and dry meat aren’t usually a successful combo.
