Celebrate International Day of Nachos with Album Nachos
So while we’re celebrating two years of blogging, we’re also able to celebrate the International Day of the Nacho, October 21. It started in 1995, to celebrate the creation by Ignacio Anaya. Last year we celebrated with this Nacho History Lesson and a CMJ party. This year, we are having the CMJ party on Saturday with 15 outrageous bands and 500 bags of tortilla chips and more!
But we also have a special surprise and gift from Bradley at Art Kicks Ass. You might be familiar with Album Tacos, the collection of album covers with tacos on them which is also the work of The Hood Internet. Well, with their written consent, upcoming interview and our undying hope to pay homage to something as great as Album Tacos, I present Album Nachos.

Even more Nacho Albums after the jump.

Since I’ve gotten this question twice now, I’ll quickly explian why the prism on this “Dark Side of the Nacho” (Nacho side of the Moon?) cover is different than the original:
I changed the colors because, rather than the ROYGBIV rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet), the nacho chip produces the colors of nachos; Salsa-Red, Spicy-Queso, Corn-Tortilla, Ripe-Jalapeno, Sour-Cream White & Guacamole-Green.
Enjoy!
