Product Review: Creamy White Queso

What? Did we review Mexican Alfredo sauce. Oh man I wish. Instead, we had to eat this Creamy White Queso crap from Target. Archer Farms doesn’t let me down often (it’s that Up and Up Target generic you have to watch out for) but this time around, my mouth was furious.

dan hand queso

I know, I know. What should we expect from a queso. I don’t know, flavor? Salt? Not sweet peppers and a milky after taste. You never would have known that it was a “queso.” Hey Target, just because you call it cheese in Spanish, doesn’t mean we don’t know it’s meant to taste like cheese.

One taster, Jon, said he would rather have his mother’s regurgitated food in his mouth than scoop another chip in this creamy dip. After we stopped retching and brushed our teeth, we threw the Creamy White Queso in the trash can. Good riddance.

Just had this last night, and it tastes like bile! Honestly some of the grossest stuff you can imagine.

I'm glad your review of this truly terrible dip shows up near the top of the search engine results -- so that others may be warned. I found myself googling this item after experiencing the WORST "queso" that I've ever experienced. I'm with you, Target brand stuff usually isn't this bad... but come on! How on Earth did this slip through product testing?

I was never able to put my finger on *exactly* what was wrong with this "queso." It's kind of sour... maybe the inert peppers were over-pickled (is that even possible?).

A completely awful and disgusting waste of tortilla chips.
