Chicago, the Windy Tortilla
For a nice weekend getaway from being the Nacho King of NY, I went out to Chicago to be the Nacho ambassador. Taking with me lovely photographer Galen, we hit the streets hard looking for fun and a few good tortillas. As you know, we have a Chicago rep for the Nacho Army. She took us in and we readied for a INSANE weekend.
After passing out quite quickly, we woke on a Friday morning hoping to see the Cubbies play on the majestic Wrigley Field. We got some scalped tickets and entered. I looked up and saw:
So I bought some. I have to.
But considering I’m at a ballpark do I judge these upon the standards of the everyday Nacho of NY. I’d have to say no, because who wants a sad review at Wrigley unless its about the Cubs. (2 points for that joke).
So they were exactly what I thought they’d be. Yellow corn chips, cheese sauce, and canned jalapenos made up what you get at any baseball game or X-Men trilogy and I don’t like it, but I like snacking during a baseball game, it’s my pastime. And how could you be mad, looking at this:
I’m still happy and Chicago is cool with me.
Happy Birthday Mom!
