Nacho Hymn of the Republic

Today’s Nacho Radio is a far cry from radio. It’s actually video. I lay down some hardcore stuff on the banjo.

See if you can sing along (lyrics below the video). It’s the tune of Battle Hymn of the Republic.

My life was so empty
Until I moved to New York City
I went on Nacho quests with Mr. Nacho known as Lee
Together on a never ending Nachos eating spree
Nacho truth will set us free

Avocado, salsa, sour cream
Avocado, salsa, sour cream
Avocado, salsa, sour cream
And don’t skimp on the cheese!

Can you top that song? Drop some lyrics in the comments!

From the great Alan Sherman, no audio to be found on the interwebs:

    I’m singing you the ballad
Of a great man of the cloth
    His name was Harry Lewis
And he worked for Irving Roth

    He died while cutting velvet
On a hot July the 4th
But his cloth goes shining on

    Glory, glory Harry Lewis
    Glory, glory Harry Lewis
    Glory, glory Harry Lewis
    His cloth goes shining on

More on topic, and more original-like:

    I’m sitting at my desk
    eating a burrito,
    reading blogs.

    I can’t pick it up
    it’d fall apart
    I’d be a slob

    If only there were chip
    to dip in my giant
    pile of slop
    I’d be a happy guy

Man I wish I had some nachos
Man I wish I had some nachos
Man I wish I had some nachos
    to keep my keyboard clean
