Buffalo Wild Wings

Last night, we (me, Rachel, and Mia) headed to Buffalo Wild Wings at the Atlantic Center in Brooklyn. They have a ridiculous happy hour including $2 domestic beers and $3 imported beers and well drinks. I was excited. I love Lenienkugel beer, and that would be $3. Alas, the menu lied to me. I was still able to have Blue Moon and New Castles. We’ ordered the “Ultimate Nachos” and waited for them with our cheap-o beers. When they came they were plain looking tortilla chips with bits of queso, lettuce, tomato, and chili with salsa and sour cream on the side. WHERE IS THE GUACAMOLE? The nachos were lack luster to me and I think my friends agreed. Mia said, “The chips weren’t salted…that really bugged me.” Rachel was too angry to even comment.

Not taken by me, but similar look

I probably wouldn’t have written this article if it wasn’t for what came next. While I ate some “Spicy Garlic” wings, an angry waitress took out her anger through loud voices and trying to drink a beer. Apparently she had been fired or was about to get fired for ordering that beer. Needless to say, she wasn’t happy. Her manager was coming to take the beer and she was running around holding the beer far from his reach and telling him not to touch her. She said, “If you touch me, you’re not going to like what happens.” I liked what happened. The whole fight took place on both direct sides of our table, I couldn’t help but watch the whole thing. Needless to say, the food was just ok, especially the nachos, but the events of the night were worth another visit.
